The Chinese with literal meaning:

滿天都是小星星                               The sky full of little stars.
掛在天上放光明                             Hanging in the sky shooting rays of light.
好像許多小眼睛                             Like many tiny little eyes

The Chinese version makes the sky sound like a giant dark monster that shoots laser beams from its eyes. Puny earthlings!
